Whiskey Blue (for short) with Carolyn

Whiskey-Blue Slinky Yoyo Monkey Bug

Dear Sandy,

Thank you so much for finding this little pain-in-the-neck-sweetheart for us, and for helping me get through the glitches in the beginning! She is one of the smartest, most charming, captivating and enchanting dogs we've ever met. We named her Whisky-Blue Slinky Yoyo Monkey Bug, and though the name is longer than she is, she seems to like it. My sad, formerly abused little Sheppy turned into a happy playful wonder once she and W.B. became friends -- we can't imagine what life would have been like without her.

Corky (AKA Pom Pom Boy). Now - with new mom, Victoria, and dad, Dave.

Pom Pom Boy

This 5 year-old pom was found running through the streets of Manhattan. A good samaritan chased him for eight blocks before catching him and turning him over to Miss Rumples' Orphanage. Pom Pom Boy was examined, neutered, vaccinated, housebroken, and eventually placed with new mom, Victoria, and dad, Dave who (mercifully) changed his name to Corky.

Hi Sandy,
Here are some pictures of your fav little Pom.
Am still working on a buddy for him. Thanks for your tips.

Keep in touch,

Victoria

Andy Now

Andy

Here's Andy with his forever mom, Barrie. He lost his original home over a year ago when his patience gave out with an unruly four year old. (We met the four year old, and were impressed Andy held out as long as he did!) Barrie adopted Andy last year and he's bringing lots of joy to all who meet him. In fact, as a result of the impression Andy gives, we placed two more of Miss Rumples' orphans in Andy's new home town.

Allie with Rita

Allie (aka Sally)

Allie is a sweet, wonderful little girl who now lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with Rita. She goes everywhere with her including work! Rita drove from Pittsburgh to Manhattan to pick her up and says that she was worth every single mile.

Leo Now

Leo

Leo's loving life over on the Upper West Side, already has two good doggie-friends in the building and is getting neutered (and his teeth cleaned! phew, he's got some stinky breath) this Wednesday. Hope you are all doing well and thanks again for making it possible for me

to adopt this yummy dog!                         Puccini Then

Stelly

Dear Sandy:

I just saw your web page and had to send you a picture of Stelly, the love of my life. She is certainly one of your success stories and she has brought me unbelievable happiness through the years that we've been together. I am in Miami right now with my sister who is going through a personal battle with breast cancer and Stelly lightens my load every time I look at her.

Love,

Elayne Shapiro

"FROM BROOKLYN STREETS TO WESTCHESTER SPLENDOR"

Little Oliver, a poodle/bichon mix found on the streets of Brooklyn by CACC, is now living the good life in a large house with several acres of land and lots of love, all courtesy of the Sherwin family from Westchester.

(The small white spot on the front lawn is Oliver in  the photo on the right. The photo on the left shows Oliver getting some Sherwin-style love.)
